There was a thread about some travel company and a couple of comments where people said its cheap therefore it must be a scam (thanks for the warning. I'll never drink in Wetherspoons again!).
Then dicko told us she was pregnant (not sure whether conception pre-dated marriage but hey, ho, these are modern times !). That said, she only mentioned it as the reason that she couldn't use this wonderful company.
Then rolpoly goes ballistic about veering off topic. Well I started a thread once about how irritating it was when people went off topic (which promptly and predictably went off topic !) but even I struggle to see how that applied (at that point at least) to this thread....!
Was there already some sort of fued going on that I'd missed previously? If so, then why don't you start a thread about it?

And for the record: The Pie Eater's primary 'concern' was having a pop at me whilst defending the author of the thread, who I assume is a friend. All the other nonsense came on the back of that. So pardon me if I don't worship at the 'Church of RolyPoly' in quite the same way!!!

Well at last my E tickets and hotel reservation has come through for the trip to Belgrade as promised by Christie at Sport First & as promised no money has changed hands as yet! So a big thank you to Christie for keeping his word and coming up trumps with a Great deal to our 1st of many (we hope) trips to Europe this season!

goonerchef did not need defending as all he did was to raise an enquiry.
other posters who did make outrageous accusations about christie`s company and website owners in theory could be in deep shit.
obviously we await gooner chef`s report on his return but recommend those guilty to offer or at least prepare grovelling apology.
incidentally its not for christie to ask for offending material to be removed. longer its there, greater his potential claim.

All I said was I was suspicious of the lack of an ATOL number when I initially recieved the flyer, I fail to see what I should be apologising for?
By discussing the issues that concerned us surrounding this company before booking up etc we were simply showing prudence, you have to be sceptical when you are offered a deal which looks to good to be true.
