New keeper in January

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

New keeper in January

Anyone think we might still be in the title race till then? We won't win the league with clown in goal so I expect Turnip to be scouting for a keeper already and he's got 3 months to find his man.

No point in this thread I'm afraid. If Almunia was going to be dropped, it would've happened long ago. There's no chance AW will admit he's wrong now, and will happily plod along watching him make the same mistakes for years to come.

It will be well too late by then. I dont see us getting anything from Chelsea or City. We will be too far behind come January.

At least today's established exactly what our season is - another fight to finish in the top four.

At least we know now, so that we don't delude ourselves into thinking we can win the league all the way to April.

Technically, you're right. But a decent start to the season, seemingly defying all logic, pointed towards something greater than we'd possibly anticipated.

Sadly there is one and he was playing on tuesday.How can a club as big as ours have TWO keepers who would struggle to get into a championship team?.The blame falls at Wengers door.He had 3 months to buy a keeper in the summer and failed.Did he really believe Almunia and Flappy were going to become good keepers all of a sudden?In the space of 4 days we have seen what we all knew They are both not good enough.But MrMagoo(Wenger) thinks there world class.

I bet we sign Schwarzer in January. He is in the last year of his contract I believe and we'd get him fairly cheap.

Given will go to Fulham.....and hopefully, hopefully Almunia will put some of us fans out of our misery and leave.

HE'S THE WORST ARSENAL KEEPER I'VE EVER SEEN

People may piont to Fabianski but in his first couple of season Almunia made some dreadfull mistakes.

Agree completely, the only thing that may stop us is all the Europe cup-tied BS. We have a shitload of profits, time to spend money on a quality keeper (Lloris, Afkineev etc etc)

to get a new keeper we will have to get a new manager. wenger will never admit he is wrong which was the main reason we were stuffed today. think almunia, diaby etc. he thinks they are world class. ha ha

Shay Given at moment isnt cup tied in europe.I know man city probably wouldnt want to sell him to us but make a huge bid tht they cant turn down.No more fucking around wenger BUY A FUCKING GOALKEEPER
