We have enough to win in Belgrade with an under strength team.. I'd rather leave The Chamakhs, Koscilenys, Nasris etc out of that game.. If they're injured were fuckedfor Sunday and would be 7 points behind the leaders if we lose, well get through this group regardless of the result in Belgrade.Play the likes of Denilson, Vela and Eboue! Of course Credit to anyone going out there..worthing gooner wrote:"play the reserves in Belgrade" thats nice for all the travelling fans going out there then sam!!!

What about them? Form is temporary, we won't play as bad as that every game! Every team has an off day and yesterday wasn't our day. Might aswell play players who aren't getting a game and we have a big enough squad to go and win.marcengels wrote:And West Brom?Gooner_Sam wrote:We have enough to win in Belgrade with an under strength team.. I mean we took them lightly and see what happened, even with a more or less proper team.Gooner_Sam wrote:What about them? Form is temporary, we won't play as bad as that every game! And to say we'd beat them with an under strength side is disrespectful to a team I would hazard a guess Sam, you haven't seen more than once or twice if that.
So how you can say an under-strength side is good enough is beyond me.

Your right, we did take West Brom lightly and we lost. But you learn from your mistakes, that's what I meant by saying we won't play like that every game. And by saying I have been 'disrespectful' is a tad over the mark? I said we can win there with an under strength side.. I didn't say we'd beat the Mary mother of Jesus out of them.
I'd take a point in Belgrade in all honesty with a side full of players who haven't had the chance to play much this season. Chelsea away isthe toughest game of the season and I want everyone of our best players fit.
Remember we played Olympiakos with a near reserve side and arguably should have won, was that not disrespectful to the other sides in the group? Sometimes you have to priorities and use your resources that are available to you.
Somehow I don't think were going to agree on this Mr Engles

It's the second group in the game, not the last, and we shouldn't be taking chelsea into account to that extent. I think it's ok to be playing an under strength team when you're through...what is disrespectful is saying we can go there and get a result with an under-stregth side. considering we don't know the first thing about them.

I can confirm that this place is good, Beer and food bloody cheap
and guys ..... the women are stunning
Went to an area around the Gothic part of the city, very centra,l for a meal in a Mexican called Nachos
3 course meal few bottles of Corona each all for £22 a head, and the food was great.
Loads of bars all with western names, Soho ect and all very lively.
There seems to be a trend of eighties music here
You will be sure of a good time.
Ps sun still shinning
