As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I would defintely start him against Partizan Belgrade, he's not going to get the correct experience from playing reserve team football.[/quote]
Amen to that, Frank.
Sadly, he's probably buggered his career by gobbing off in the public domain.
Completely agree with that Frank. Also if Gibbs is fit soon I'd definitely start him at left back ahead of Clichy

He could hear it as he looked over quite a few times - that's gonna f**k up his confidence even more
Good to hear this.
Hopefully he'll be booed by the entire ground next home game.
As much as I'm with you on this, we're well and truly up creek Goalkeeping wise. . I've nothing against either the Clown or flappy but the really striking issue is that you could name almost all of the Premier 1st choice keepers and they'd be better then ours.
There's only one man to blame for this and for a club of our stature we should have a top goal keeper.
Booing him (sadly) will only further dent his confidence and maybe will end up doing a 'Sol'. Not only that boo's would also effect the rest of the team.
This would also create another problem as that Flappy is waiting in the wings.
( Oh god What if Wenger actually drops Al for Flappy against the Chavs! )
Ironically Al was a legend in the first half only to end up being the the villian. TBF, I don't think the clanger would had much of an impact on the end result. We were being battered anyway and the overall performance was so lack lastured that Brom deseved it in the end. Obviously what we hightlight is the mistake but this isn't a reflection on the defeat but after so many fualts (not just with Al) this has been the straw thats broke the camels back.
I say keep on with the boo's. Make them as loud as possible. I want the whole world to hear us boo so Wenger has no choice but to admit publicly he fucked up and fucked up bad. Drop THE CLOWN AND FLAPPY AND BRING in Szczensy
There is no way he can be as bad.
Agreed.
In all fairness Eboue was booed for that Wigan game. What Almunia has done in the last few years has been far worse.
At the end of the day, if the boos get loud enough and regular enough he will be dropped.
It's very unfortunate it has come to this, but Wenger will never be booed and since he isn't a player it would be near impossible especially with his followers to do it to him.
Our fans are no different to any others IMO, if any other side got destroyed at home by West Brom there would be a reaction.

As DB10 deleted the other thread......
Yes, but in fairness the situation is different.
Eboue's position, as a right winger could have been filled by several player most of which at the time would have been an improvement.
ATM we have worse still to come in the shape of Flappy.
Still you should NEVER boo one of your own not matter how bad you play.
If by some small miracle AW picks you to play (for example ) and you have an absolute stinker as you not up to the task who's fault is that?
Also booing one player is effectively booing the team. It WILL have an effect on them.
Tbh if I was getting booed, I would shrug it off and try and improve. Mind you if it was another club I would probably give a bit back if it was too much, few wanker signals or something.
I really cant see how they can be much worse unless they start throwing the ball into their own net. Almunia practically did that vs West Brom.
