CHAMPIONS LEAGUE V Partizan Belgrade
Good to win but our defending was shocking. At 1-0 up it should have been game over becasue this lot are rubbish. We let them back into it and then piss about even when they are down to 10 men.
If we are as badly organised at the back against Chelsea I suggest you all bring your vaseline as we are in for a serious shafting.

Backline was utter garbage tonight,Song kept up his fascination with going forward instead of his job as well. Wilshere and Chamakh were best of the lot and Gibbs played well upto the pen.Their keeper played a blinder as well. That crowd was unbelievable, just amazing noise the whole way through, its possibly the only game ever I have not heard the travelling gooners once.Job done and we should qualify from the group now pretty handy but I would fear for us on sunday.

Just from some of the images of the away section at HT i would have been too busy trying to stay alive to consider making any noiseperry groves was a legend wrote:Backline was utter garbage tonight,Song kept up his fascination with going forward instead of his job as well. Must say I'm relieved. We played beautifully for about 20 minutes in the first half and but for a profligate Arshavin, would have been 3 or 4 up.
However, defensively we were atrocious, with Djourou clumsy, Schillachi ponderous, and Sagna often caught out of position. Only Gibbs seemed to be defending properly.
As for midfield: Denilson kept getting the ball but was indecisive and at least three times in the opening half took such a bad first touch that his second was literally a tackle. as for the penalty concession - unforgivable!!!
All the time in the world yet still failed to control it. Even then, why - like so many in our side - did he not head it? why are so many of our players frightened to head the ball, instead either chesting it or letting the ball bounce, and thus giving the opposition the chance to nick the ball?
Alex Song today put in the worst passing performance I've ever seen - ever!!!
Even worse than Eboue in the famous 'boo-gate' match against Wigan, and as bad as anything Denilson has produced, and trust me, that's a lot of competition right there!!
Indeed, I wouldn't be surprised if the amount of times he conceded possession appears in this years Guinness Book of Records!!! Given his improvement last season, I fear the guy now thinks he's better than he actually is.
Apart from a couple of dodgy moment with his kicking, Flappy did all that could be expected, although because the opposition were so shit - thankfully - that was very little. Good penalty save and a decent last minute one. Although I must admit in slow motion it looked like his wrists were less than firm and Fabby was probably lucky it went wide. Still, hopefully he can build on this.
Jack was brilliant again. Enough said really. Chamack worked very hard and deserved his goal.
Finally (and as I say to my girlfriends, 'apologies for the long length!!
), as others have already said - if we defend like that against Chelsea and they're anything like on form, I fear we'll get a spanking.
Drogba's probably licking his lips as we speak!!
