Almunia Out Camaign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Me neither, but I'm not going to have a go at fans who do, I personally think that players these days get away very lightly when it comes to this, I've seen players over the years, (pre the premiership boom) ruined by our crowd, sometimes, unjustly. The 'Eboue incident' would have been laughed at in the late 70's.
I agree a paying punter has the right to express how he/she feels. Absolutely. No problem with that - I just don't agree with doing it.

Agreed on the 70's and would add the 80's to it to. I remember St Michael of Thomas getting booed in the 89 campaign.

Even Wrighty got it at one stage. Remember the tossers that started the "Wrighty out" campaign? Fucking idiots. He was a one man team on so many occasions for us in the early - mid 90's.

I hate the sight of Almunia but would never support a campaign against him. It's a horrible thing to do and no doubt it will just make things worse as all the players will come out against the fans.

I wouldn't mind supporting a campaign for a new goalie in January though..Szcheney is good on the line but the couple of times I've seen him he was useless at coming out for crosses and comanding his defence. MAnnone would be my number 1 at the moment...

Yeah, he was playing like a useless *word censored*, and should've been dropped
