Well it has got to this has it!

In the Wanted and For Sale Forum I put up a jokey thread asking if anyone has a new forum for sale as this one seems fucked! Just lighthearted banter but it seems to have disappeared! Was it nasty? No! Light hearted banter? Yes!

In here I reply to several posts and what do you know........my comments have gone! No mention of the word c**t or anything truly or anything close but yet gone!

Call Mulder and fucking Scully!

If it has got to the stage where you cannot take the mick out of some major hiccups on here with the technical side or a jokey comment to a request for articles for the fanzine then you can poke it!

Seems a little bit daft when a genuine supporter of Arsenal who has written articles deemed good enough to be put into print cannot have a bit of fun but Man Yoo mugs like Panto can say what they want here without seeing their tripe removed!

I often get accused of being one of the " doom and gloom negative" bunch on here and when you try and have a laugh it gets removed! Why? I have taken plenty of ribbing here myself as it is all in good jest and that is how I take it.....why cannot the powers that be do the same?

If we are not free to have a laugh and take the proverbial wee wee out of each other on here as well as the serious stuff, and god knows I have been involved in plenty of that too then the forum has lost the spirit it had when I joined it in the summer!

Rant over but had to be said!

Wonder how long this will last!

not good gus,, the whole idea of this forum compared to others is that the craic was had,
serious stuff when it was needed but the jokes and laughs were what kept it fresh

dont know what happened your thread but maybe gooner ed when he reads this will giv an answer

Ooops thats a bad sign Gus if it has turned to this. The main thing I like about this site is that we have a laugh , take the piss, bitch and moan , praise and its never (in my opinion ) over the top. But if it has got to the stage where the posts are being censored or even removed then that no fun.

To be honest I am quite serous about this! Well as serious as I get without being paid!

It just pisses me off!

I will be quite honest, and Rebel will back me up on this as I said it to him Sunday, but I think some of the fun of this place has gone! Why search me.....although I will say some peoples blinkers are starting to get on my man boobs!

If this place wants to turn into Arsenal.com then fair do's, you just won't see me for dust!

IT'S GOOD TO KNOW THAT AT LEAST QUALITY CONTROL IS STILL WORKING!!

SERIOUSLY THOUGH, I SAW AND RESPONDED TO GUS'S THREAD ON THE 'FOR SALE' SECTION YESTERDAY AND NOTICED LATER THAT IT HAD DISAPPEARED, ALONG WITH ANOTHER ONE ON THE GENERAL CHAT SECTION WONDERING WHY EVERYTHING WAS WRITTEN IN GREEK/RUSSIAN.

I CAN ONLY ASSUME THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE SITE WHICH HAS BEEN RECTIFIED AND THUS THE THREADS QUERYING IT WERE REMOVED.

GUS, I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU WROTE ON THE GOONER FANZINE CONTRIBUTIONS THREAD, BUT IT MUST OF BEEN BAD IF THEY HAVE DELETED IT. TO BE FAIR TO THE MODERATORS, WE DO GET MORE OR LESS FREE LICENSE TO POST WHAT WE LIKE (WITHIN LIMITS, EH REBEL

), SO IT WOULD BE SURPRISING IF IT WAS AN EDITORIAL DECISION.

believe or not IHH im not posting as much,, am here today because im off work but the craic has mellowed since the summer,,
i agree that we have a lot of freedom on here but when threads and posts are been deleted then there should at least be a explaination

well rob told me it was due to the forum being hacked, any signs of sommin to do with the hacking they deleted, rob said he was goin to post to gus dont know weather he sent it as pm or not tho

I didn't see any of the deleted threads (I don't think). Certaintly didn't delete any. I could have deleted all the pictures of me but hey I haven't AND I was just a little merry not drunk

It may have had something to do with the changes I'm sure Rob will enlighten us properly.

IHH I wrote nothing on the "serious" forum where people respond to Gooner articles!

Only in here and the Forum for Sale post in the For Sale and Wanted forum!

I said nothing that could be described as nasty, malicious ot dertimental to this place which is why I am so fucked off!

I hate saying this but are we now in a "if your face fits" type of forum?

We have had Eboue for sale in the appropriate forum (you guessesd it, no takers) as well as The Swiss Misfit but did they get removed.....oh no!

Sorry but it is pathetic that if you have a bit of jokey banter at the forum heirarchy the way they see fit to respond is to delete it!

When I have been wrong, for instance with the ample bossomed phallus stimulation avatar, I have held my hands up and said fair cop guv!

This though was just light hearted piss take and to be honest removal of that type of post is going to far!

NOW THAT WOULD EXPLAIN THINGS AND IS WHAT I SUSPECTED.
