CHELSEA AWAY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Lord help us tomorrow, will be pretty pissed off if we lose yet again to a top side.
This is the acid test and its about time we passed it.

i do agree with what ur saying but with all the key players we have out injured, if we lose, i wouldnt be surprised and cant really class it as the acid test due to this...if it was full squad vs full squad...

We can't always have things the way we want them to be, we won the league at OT with Wiltord and Kanu not Henry and Dennis, plus players like Jeffers, Stepanov were on the bench.
Yes the spine of the team is out but thats 3 of a 25 man squad all picked by Arsene to wear the Arsenal shirt, its time they showed what they can do.

Don't forget no Pires or Adams either that night. Very similar to recent history. Although if Mr. Wenger is right the next 20 years will be more like the last five than they ever will be those poher years.

Guess we might just get to see what it was like from 1953-1969 after all.

Why is it that when you load up arsenal.com one of the bets advertised is 10/1 for Cesc to score the first goal? :?

Is it bad that I expect us to lose this and don't feel nervous. Let's face it, we are not a match physically, we over elaborate far too much and we commit our CM's in doomed attacks.

I hope we do em', I want us to crap on them at their chavvy little stadium with their nasty fans in their chavvy uniforms(knock of Burberry, Stone Island...the usual shite) but if we don't it's not a huge surprise.

Best we can hope for is 3rd/4th, as 1st will be Chavs or Citeh.

Might head to goonerland to watch this one as S.London is awash with beer bellied chavs, their bleach blonde tarts and their inbred offspring.........I'm trying not to sound at all bitter...failing miserably.

Sadly my expectations are so low that I will be happy not to be humiliated. I think we will let in at least 2 so its up to the attacking players to score 3. 8)
Not impossible if they fire on all cylinders, but in my heart I know I'm clutching at straws.
Switching my phone off at 4! :(

i don't want this game to happen. can't we just not play it, then at the end of the season if either of us are within 3 points of the team directly above us (so, if we are within 3 points of the team above us, cos i can't see chelsea having anyone above them) then we'll play it then
