pretty much it, dont think we are strong enough for the league, however, we could be where Liverpool are so cant complain too much...could always be worse

I'm happy for the guy who put £125 on Dogbreath to score anytime. Clever. If its true that is.

We deserved something from that game.
i don't remember a meaningful shot on target, and if you don't have shots on target, you aren't going to win
(except when boro beat us 3-1 despite only having 1 shot on target in the game, due to 2 own goals on our part)

I wonder what Wenger's excuses are going to be. Pathetic.

Yeah, but it would have been 20-1 on I'm sure so I doubt he won more than a tenner!

That game was just like last season except we maybe showed a bit more bite in the challenge. Stupid first goal to concede and then it was always going to be difficult. Chelsea were happy to let us have the possession knowing that we weren't going to score.

And that second goal was quality. Malouda creating the gap and Alex slotting in. Hasn't Alex scored a cracker against us before when he on loan to some Dutch side...?

Good performance, shit result. How many times have we heard that?

Ah well. Promising signs but we've had plenty of them.

Still, we could be Liverpool.

Hmmm, identik performance, identik result, someone said we deserved something out of that game, and of course we did, but we could say that about any performance against them over the last 5 seasons.

The sooner Clichy is dropped the better, watch his pathetic attempt on Anelka for the Cole offside goal, he is a fucking disgrace.

- We lacked a little bit sharpness around the box

- Fabianski was world class and showed great character

- Drogba, other than his goal, did very little

- We showed spirit today

it really was one hell of a free kick. as well as the sky advert i can see it being the climax to next season's motd titles, just before it shows terry lifting the prem trophy again

We played well today! Chelsea were AGAIN the more efficient team and they scored two goals from two very very difficult situations.

The usual suspects played very well today in my opinion. Flappy, best game for us by far, couldn't do anything about the goals. Clichy did well too.

Kos and Squillachi are fairly slow, and when they faced the pace and power of Malouda, Drogba and Anelka, I thought they were going to have a nightmare. They didn't.

The attack was pretty solid but not vicious enough to say the least.

One player I have to say I'm sick of is ARSHAVIN. He lost as many balls as the whole Chelsea team combined, he didn't chase back, and besides the kick early in first half, he did fuck all.

It's the most difficult match of the season, and we gave them a very very good fight, but again they won. :barscarf:

Cheers Jayson, it was a nice bet to come off but I'm still gutted we didn't take something from the game

Like I said in a post before the match, he was evens to score at anytime, I think that's a very generous bet as he ALWAYS scores against us
