From what I've seen, I have to agree with you Wayno.
I still don't understand why city would sell Given to us. With Given in goal for us that could only harm city. Given will only go where city want him to go to.

I could care less about anything past that, right now I'd just like to hear "Arsenal have offered (insert proper wage amount) here for the services of Manchester City outcast Shay Given".
But what's more likely based on the summer's evidence is "Arsenal have offered (below market value) for the services of Mark Schwarzer, who is to be replaced by Fulham's newly signed Shay Given..."
After the long build up to us buying a 38 journey man I will not be happy if we buy him in January. Wenger should go buy a real world class keeper end of. Though Wenger is a twat and he probably will buy him.

Yes it was pure genius. Whenever I'm out & in desperate need of a poo I pretend I'm looking for the nearest toilet but secretly I'm not even bothering & then when I shit myself I feel ever so smart.
A season or so ago we could have had Brad Freidal on a free transfer but he was considered to old but now we after a 38 yr old????Given will be available in January but anything over a Quid is out of reach!!!

Wenger did persue Schwarzer.Two bids were turned down by Fulham.Wenger wanted him,but on the cheap
The french idiot put in 2 cheap bids as he knew they would be truned down. Just so he looks like he tried.
He has no desire for a keeper as it would upset his current world class keepers.
