SPURS AWAY - MILAN AWAY

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Spuds on ur own, just dont wear any colours, and if any Spurs fans say are you Arsenal, or u Arsenal *****, just say no your not,act like your a pedestrian walking down the street, and when u go out,try and go in the police escort,

as forr Fulham away, its easy, colours not a problem, get to Putney Bridge, the goonerspub there is 'The Larrick' which is just up the road, opposite way to the thames, and to get to Craven cottage, just walk along the Enbankment, only 10 mins down :P

Crocit is right about spuds away it's about the only ground i dont wear colours. just keep ya head down and you will be ok. Don't forget it's a long walk from tube station (about 10/15 mins) once your in then you can start to have some fun singing etc. When you come out of the ground just dissapear in to the crowd as soon as you can. If we win you can expect them to be waiting at juction but OB do a half decent job of keeping them away from us.
Been to Roma & Juve and both times it was fine but again take care where you are if you have colours on. The biggest problem is the stewards in the ground they are animals and like to push people around at turnstiles etc. Juve was funny cos all staff in ground have hard hats on cos they are so use to having things thrown at them.
I have traveled to quite a few european away games with club on my own and it's a great way to meet gooners and make new mates. You will have a good time I'm sure. I will be meeting some guys in Milan so keep an eye on here for details of where we will be meeting.
Good luck mate

like SG said he's meeting some fellas out there my good self being one of them, i'm sure i'll be that hypa about the trip that the week preceeding the game i'll be posting what we'll be doing in milan so keep your eyes peeled or PM me nearer the time.

take care at spurs, especially on your own. i would do it on my own if i had been before a couple of times and knew exactly what it was like, but would imagine it will feel daunting for you.

SG. just out of interest how does Spuds away compare with the millionaires of chelski??

As I'm sure you are aware I can only talk about what has happend to me so another gooner may tell you a different story.... But.
Again I would cover my colours at chavs they seem to have a lot of nutters who like a scrap but aint so much of a coward as the spuds. The spuds like to do it when they outnumber you 5 to 1. I must add I have never been in a fight at a football match and hope to keep that run going for many a year. If you walk about with ya colours on singing "the wanky tottenham went to Rome" etc down the 7 sisters Rd you are going to find trouble but cover ya colours and keep ya head down and you can go safe to any ground. But I would take care when near the bridge cos you do get that feeling that it could kick off. As I said another Gooner could tell you they are fine and 1 will tell you never to go.

Don't be put off going to the lane. It is the best away game of the season bar none if we win. Once you do it once you will want to go every year. But saying that I won't take my son there cos I would worry to much.
