champions leauge game , North Bank . Arsenal vs Bayern leverkeusan at Highbury . we won it 4 - 1 . One of the best European performances at Highbury topped off with a stunning chipped goal from the Dutch master .

iceing on the cake , i took a girl who i was crazy about to the game and we ended up hooking up that night . possibly the perfect day .

1979 Cup Final with my Dad and Uncle Tom!

Wasn't a bad start to Goonership and from that day I was hooked!

Old git alert!!!!

Mine was home to Notts County in the FA Cup 3rd round 1979(we went on to win the cup) so not a bad game to start think we won 3-1. I went with my dad and my brother i was aged 7 and we sat in the east stand upper.

Sheffield Utd at home in the league cup in Oct 71. A dreary 0-0 draw but I was hooked. My dad took me as a birthday treat and it'd be fair to say that football was'nt his favourite game

so I guess he did'nt exactly enjoy the night. We were in the west lower and I spent a lot of time looking at the north bank. I knew that the next time I came I'd be with mates ans standing on that terrace and could'nt wait for the next one

I loved everything from the crowded tube and streets to the peanut sellers and I especially loved the noise and atmosphere coming from the north bank, happy days

Arsenal v Oxford, November 15th 1985.

A week after Arsenal lost 6-1 away to Everton, which I like to remind people of when they call me a glory hunter.

We won 2-1, Davis and Woodcock for Arsenal, Jeremy Charles (son of former Gunner Mel and nephew of Juventus's John Charles) scored for Oxford.

As Highbury disappeared in 2005, so to did Oxford from the League - very apt.

first ever game, qpr 0-0 arsenal, early nineties, pretty young, and boring, anyone remember the season?? Also, first game at highbury, end of the season, arsenal 5-1 southampton, pretty sure glenn cotterill scored for the saints. Again if anyone remembers the season i'd be grateful cos i dont remember, altho im sure its not too difficult for me to find out!!

My first match - my Dad not being interested in football I had to wait until I could take myself the 20 odd miles from Essex into London. 1975 Arsenal v West Ham FA Cup Quarter Final. Lost 0-2. They took the North Bank. I got very wet. 54,000 crowd. Mad. I was hooked!!

Can't believe now that my 12 year old son feels hard done by that I'm not taking him to Milan....and he actually thinks he's going to Moscow if we get to the final. Youngsters today.....! His first game was a 1-1 draw with Bolton - with "fox in the box" Jeffers scoring for us. My 14 year old daughters first game, a 4-2 win in the Champions League and one of the oppositions goals was scored by Rosisky. My 10 year old son's 1st was home to Rotherham in the League Cup, with Cesc making his debut. And my wife's 1st was in 1986 - a 3-0 win away to Charlton who at the time were playing their home games at Crystal Palace. We got there late and were stuck at the back of the terrace, so she didn't see a thing! Our first proper date!

I remember the W Ham game well and came from Essex that day too, seemed as tho me and my mates were the only gooners travelling from that part of the world that day, the trains were full of the bastards

and that twat Taylor scored twice for them, I remember the ball sticking in the muddy quagmire that was the goalmouth in front of the north bank leading to one of them, you don't see pitches like that any more
