Donate £50 to Treehouse and win an Arsenal Opus… (16/1)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

usual thread starter… Ah well, it’s or charity. But one question I have for you. If you were actually interested in buying a copy, how much would you be prepared to pay. I think everyone agrees it’s well overpriced at £3,000. Think I could be tempted up to £200 myself, but at the end of the day, however beautiful it is, it’s only a book, right? I've heard a whisper that sales are a bit on the slow side to put it mildly, so expect loads more comps in various guises and plenty more promotion all round. These will not be selling out anytime fast!

I have a blinding idea for a future Arsenal book. Im actually going to ask the club about doing it but surely as its my idea then I should be given a free copy (Im not holding my breath!) . As for the opus I love seeing rare and unseen Arsenal photographs but at them prices they will have to stay rare and unseen for a while longer!

It's a fantastic book but who on earth did they expect to buy one. At 37kg not too many people can even lift it!
