Oireland getting tanked

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

More goals than the top scorers of SPAIN or ITALY.

How can he be overrated? I think just bacause he plays for Spu*s it is clouding a lot of peoples judgment. I couldnt quite believe what I was reading but each to their own.
If any of the top strikers from Spain or Italy had been playing in all the games that Keane has played, they would have 60 or 70 goals scored. His conversion rate is shocking. Well past time he was dropped.
104 Caps 45 Goals. You need to consider too that with playing for Spain the likes of Villa will have more chances.

I remember being at the 1st match at croke park (fcuk ye gaa c**ts :barscarf: ) against wales and the c**t was pure muck and all around me the crowd cheered when he was finally taken off 8) Cant get a game for the scum and his "career" is def on a downward spiral plus he thinks that he is better than he actually is
Have to agree with shiney dome!

Pikey has played for 12 years for Oireland. How many goals a year is that? 3 and a bit? Also 17 of those goals were in friendlies ffs. The crunt misses more than he hits. He is like a shorter whiter Greedywhore and with a personality to match.

The site of the fucking idiot running around celebrating "stopping" us winning the league at the Drain in 2004 (and then the face on the arsehole after someone has obviously told him) is a vision I'll never forget! 8)

northbankbren wrote:Have to say that I just dont understand leaving early from a game, especially if its just because your losing/gunna lose. Not that im into booing my team either but if i was id rather stay to the end and boo then leave early....

but i personally always stay till the end, and have never boo'd one of our players (although been close, i remember before greedybayor left me and my brother refused to boo, but also refused to sing any of his songs, whenever his chants started we just looked at each other in disgust...but he is the closest ive been to booing one of our own).

as for early leaving....i dont get it, now i understand you have the rite to leave early in disgust, but whats the point, you never know whats going to happen (actually alot of the time you do  , but you have to show your support to you team good or bad....or if you want to boo).

Now there are a few exeptions in my book to being ok to leave early....e.g.....elderly, disabled, at bit vulnerable (DB!10  ), basically not really physically up to the crush towards the stations.......BUT....if your young and in good health, trying to beat the queue at the staion is a disgrace!!!!!!!

The amount of people who walked out when the mancs went one nil up in the champions league :banghead: a couple of seasons ago after about 20mins was so unbelievable......i still cant believe it :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

M-50 I can understand the frustration you felt at being 3-0 down to russia, it was a farse, but personally no matter what the score or performance I stay till the end, its hard at times, and yes you want to go home and for it to be over, but you grit your teeth and deal with it. You've paid to watch a footy match, so stay and watch the match. :barscarf:

I just dont get early leaving for football reasons :banghead:

....feck we were awful tonight again  :banghead:
Like yourself, and that other guy, who think it's poor etiquette to leave a match, I think that's all 'up in the air' shit that people are roped into because they feel they are more hardcore supporters cause they stay till the dying end.

75% of our supporters left Stamford Bridge a couple of weeks ago with 10 minutes to go. I don't see yourself and that other dude commenting on that anywhere. If you are going to single out people's posts (inconsistently) then I can't take you seriously or be arsed to continue the argument

The way yourself, and others, comment on leaving the match early comes across, imo, as 'you don't really care you aren't a supporter'.

I think it's fair to say that's exactly what you's refer to? That's total bullshit. If I've had enough of looking at something that I have paid for, I should have every right to quit and not be questioned, or in this case, told it's improper conduct. You don't set the rules, you have your own and that's all good, I got mine too :D

I did say its well within your rite to leave early, i just dont understand it.

As for not coming on here and ripping into those who left early at chelski......its because the early leaving thing HAS been done to death on here, so its not brought up as often just do a search and you're bound to find dozens of threads on the subject. You brought up the fact you left early because we were 3-0 down, so it their to be commented on.

Just a question, but do you not think it would be better to make the most of the money you spent by staying to the end and venting your frustrations at the players?

Honestly m-50 you left to beat the traffic didnt you?
