Hetfield's voice is gone, granted, Kirk is still as good now as he was, I don't think Lars is that a drummer now, he just uses a shite drum. And I don't mind Truilljo tbh

Not a huge country fan but Johnny Caah was one of the Greatest PEOPLE ever in popular muisc and a terrific terrifc singer and performer to boot.flash gunner wrote:On Sky channel 256 (i think) its a channel called Sky Arts but has loads of live music on there. I watched Johnny Cash at San Quentin prison the other night never been into Johnny Cash but it was brilliant. Well worth watching if it comes on again

I never had the good fortune to actually met him but Cash was simply one of the most genuine people and performers ever in popular music. That comes through in every stage of his career. Johnny Cash always cared about people and that informed his music all the way back to Sun Studios.flash gunner wrote:Agree.... ive never been a country fan either but really enjoyed that TV programmeUSMartin wrote:Don't have Sky Arts here but its a fantastci show. There is live footage from the prison shows

I heard that during the shows at Folsom and at San Quentin there were no cameras allowed.
