BIRMINGHAM THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Hmmmm, how the fuck did he get injured?? He's not even a fucking international player.....

Some independent presence needs to observe everything from the training to the medical set up, because there is obviously something really wrong with it. :banghead:
i don't think that the training is the problem. most of our injuries this season were caused during matches or when the players were away with their countries. we've had few training injuries this term.
With respect, it still needs to be looked at, it goes hand in hand, with warm-up/cool-down 'techniques' which they would perform before and after a given training session. :?

I really don't care anymore. Regardless of who I hear is injured, I don't really flinch... it's just normal for us.

Flappy, Clichy, Squillaci, Djourou and Eboue - not that's a back 5 to be proud of! 8) :barscarf:

By the way, am I the only person intending to clap Hleb on Saturday? :? he's an ex-player, and I generally like to thank them for their contribution. I don't hold a grudge, so I don't see a reason to boo.
More than likely g88ner, I won't boo him either, but I'm definitely not going to clap the ice-cream loving, big city noise loathing, non-shooting tosser..

Just shout Ice cream van tunes at him

One good thing about tomorrow is that Awful Al might be back in goal so I will have a Circus act infront of me in Block 5 for the 1st half.

I don't like the look of our defence, it's got a very flakey look about it, so, I'm going for a 4-2 win.

It's not just the injuries that are a joke, the way the club gets the players back is even more laughable, Cesc had a two week break so instead of using it to work on his fitness he is allowed to have a holiday.

It takes the piss, got a bad feeling about later, if this team doesn't score early and Birmingham defend well then it could be a long afternoon.

my starting XI would be

Szczesny
Eboue - SS18 - Djourou - Gibbs
Song - Wilshere
Nasri - TR7 - AA23
Chammy

2-1 for the Arsenal :barscarf:
