Arsenal Football Club can confirm that goalkeeper Vito Mannone has joined Championship side Hull City on loan until January 2011.
The 22 year-old joined Arsenal in 2005 from Atalanta, made his first team debut against Stoke City in a 4-1 victory in May 2009 following a loan spell at Barnsley where he played four times.
Vito started for the Gunners last season in the 3-2 Champions League win at Standard Liege and went on to make eight appearances in a good autumn run - not once being on a losing Arsenal side.
A highly-productive campaign also saw him capped by Italy Under-21s for the first time.
Vito will immediately join up with Hull City and will stay on loan with Nigel Pearson’s side until January 3, 2011.
Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Vito the best of luck during his time at the KC Stadium
I assume this will mean that Scezney will get his chance when flappy makes his inevitable balls up. Although I think wenger will afford Al one more chance before dropping him again.
The coming weeks could prove very interesting, especially if Scezney gets a chance and he then fucks up as well.

Bless you.
Im happy Mannone has gone tbh, he isn't the standard we need. I want Chezzers to get a chance to see if he is the real deal. Ive seen enough of him to say he is but at the moment, the bench isnt doing him any favours.
He has got to play in the Carling Cup surely.
My Polish mate just happened to pass my desk, and although I couldn't really understand what he was saying, I'm pretty sure he confirmed Flappy has senior caps.
I just don't see what makes Mannone the most qualified of our keepers.

I suppose one could argue he has never been in a losing Arsenal team.
Although a team which didn't play Chelsea or Man Utd at the time.
