Same thing happened to my dad a few years ago. Jackpot was 10 million and he had 5 numbers. He was pissed off to only win about 1200 euro...
On a brighter note the last 2 saturdays I've been doing random 25/1 bets on horses. I pick a race that has between 5 and 9 horses running and put a fiver on the 25/1 shot (or nearest odds). The fucker has come in 2 weeks running. Total fluke!
On saturday it was Lindseysomething lodge in the 3.05 at Kelso. Led from the beginning and then in the home straight a fucking stray horse ran across him and pushed him out wide letting some other bastard in. I nearly puked. Then the stray horse ran back across the other bastard and my nag ran on to win. Sweet.
The above forementioned 1587euros has now financed a trip for the newcastle game next month and also provides for xmas as well.Wife is happy she gets 1000euros to spend on xmas and i get the 587euros plus some money i had been saving for a game which was originally going to be sunderland game next march but this little windfall moves my visit to the emirates closer.Spoke to my uncle with season tickets no problem with him now just to book flights
