MAN CITY AWAY THREAD.. and good pub

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

MAN CITY AWAY THREAD.. and good pub

Post by AA23Northbank »

Who's heading up for this one? Where is the best place to go for a pre-match drink? Was thinking near the train station but I've heard the pubs around there aren't great so may hit Piccadilly Gardens :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

If we can stop Tevez I'm pretty confident we'll get a result. Especially with Cesc and Theo back

Actually think we'll turn them over. Might even have a few quid on it, will have to see what the odds are like. We must be favourites? Wishful thinking?

City were very lucky against Blackpool and we've got Cesc and Theo back so I'm feeling pretty confident about this. I need to be confident about this considering I have to be up at a ridiculously early hour to make it to Manchester and don't wanna have a shit day!

The Derby Arms is a good shout. They let away fans in and it's only a short walk from the ground. They've also got sky and a pool table.

City play really tight (with 3 defensive midfielders) and hope that they will hit you at some point, which they will. This is our worst nightmare as a team. Cant see anything but a loss here
