If so, can he be compared to our once favourite circular dribbler, Sylvain Wiltord?

P.S. Bale is a heck of a player and I think we should bid for him, imagine if he signed, it would be Sol Part Two!

The last five minutes of the match were the best thing that could have happened....no, really. It was so obvious that Inter were completely bored with the whole thing that they went to sleep and let the Scummers paper over the cracks.

Their first half display just proved to me that their delusion has reached new levels. As predicted they are completely fucked at the back with their centre half situation and Huddlestone proved himself to be the immobile lump that he is (as did Palacios for this brief booking laden waddle around for 15 minutes).

Still they are all creaming themselves that Van der Vaart's return will bring on their world dominance.

In some ways it's a shame they won't be in it next year. We've already plenty of laughs against Young Boys and Inter

I wasn't watching last night as I despise them so much, but heard wild screams from the flat above. I tuned in to itv to see the prick upstairs was wildly celebrating the goal to make it 4-2 "What a muppet" I thought.

Moments later more screams and shouts for 4-3, it was if he was celebrating the CL final winner, not a goal that would obviously count for absolutely fuck all!!!

A DVD perhaps - The Great Comeback (almost). Watched the 1st half with amusement. 3 grat goals by Bale tho', especially the first one.

the really annoying thing is that bale scored the same goal 3 times. if the keeper had stood up for any of them he would've caught them in his midriff, instead he dived to his near post, and out of the way of the ball, each time. at shot number 3 i would've thought a world class keeper might think "maybe he'll try and shoot across me to the far post..."

I've been rinsing a Totteringham fan on facebook - he's sore as he reckons it's unfair that we've been handed a "bye" of a group.

We've been handed a "bye" of a group because we have proven ourselves to be a consistently better team than them over the past 10-15 years, in both domestic & European competition, hence why we are seeded in Pot 1. In fact, it's only by virtue of Utd, Chelsea & Liverpool performing consistently in the competition that the spuds were seeded into Pot 3 rather than 4.
