FORZA INTER!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Inter's got work to do in the Serie A, and at 4-0 you really don't foresee a team (especially a Sp*rs team) coming back. If anything Rafa could take credit for a 45 minute romp over Redknapp's "express train" or whatever.

Chivu is too valuable to risk for 90 minutes when 3 points are secure.

Chivu was the left back and up against Lennon for most of the match. Bale did his damage on Inter's right-hand side.

Fair play to the spuds. Although Inter obviously took their foot off the gas at 4-0, that was almost one of the greatest come-backs ever - especially when you consider that they were down to 10 men for 80 odd minutes of the game.

Those of you that still think this is the spurs of old and therefore are and always will be shit, need to wake up to the fact that they have their strongest squad for over 30 years and have improved to the extent that they can be considered a serious challenge, for a change. Don't let your understandable hatred for them blind you to that.

Come now, let's be fair to them, it's a really hard place to go, and they looked pretty decent. They could have won it and it's really looking up for them. If I didn't support Arsenal I think I'd support them.

So, although you lost, well done Bursaspor, better luck next time. Spurs, you were shit.

This is very true. Its also scary. Amazing what a star player can do to a team. Though he didnt play yesterday i do feel spuds seem stronger mentaly now.

I was at Young Voters Question Time on BBC3 last night so missed this, looked like it was going to be a party for Inter first half, but Monkeyboy saved a little face. Stupid Benitez again. :banghead: Oh well. thats 3 points down the pan for them and they won't have Gomes for the next match against Inter I assume?
