Has spud head rooney ever scored for everton at highbury?

Just having this discussion with my grandad and he claims he was in the north bank and witnessed rooney score a peach of a goal against us at highbury. Now I'm sure he only ever scored "that" goal for everton against us at goodison around 2000/2001, can anyone here back this up so I can shut up my slightly deluded elder?

Yes he did. As SteveO said, in the clock-end goal (from memory, in 2005/6 during a 2-1 win for us?).

I remember that game - I think Vieira got the winner. Those 3 points put us top of the table and I remember thinking we might just go on and win the league.....silly boy!

It was PV4 who got the winner.02/03 should have been the middle part of 3 titles in a row.But somehow we let it slip.Bit like 99 and 08
