I was toying with those 2 names too, I think we can safely rule out Bertie though and I'm tending to steer clear of Charlie too. After all it is a sniffer dog and I don't want people thinking I called him Charlie after something else

He is a sniffer dog??? We use spaniels and labradors as accelerant detecting dogs, never heard of a basset hound as a sniffer dog

Really? There you go, you live and learn, I thought they were used too Happy days, Charlie it is then. If I can get the little fucker to sit still I'll happily post some pictures (or I may just rob them from google images of similar dogs á la the OP)
