Now, I've stayed out of the various arguments about this because I kinda symphathised with people that had to travel a good distance home, but it is getting ridiculous now.

It was farcking embarrassing, watching huge areas empty and listening to the armchair wanker fans around me in the boozer blabbing on about fair weather fans and no atmosphere.

I'm sorry, but I don't give a fcuk how far you live from the ground - don't leave early!! You are embarrassing the club.
So what if you're home a little late or have to sit in traffic a little longer or have to queue at a tube stop? Try getting home to another country after a game! To be honest, when I'm over for games I usually stay over night but if I don't stay over then I often will have to get out to Standstill airport or Heathslow straight after the game but I still stay to the end no matter what the score or travel conditions. I've actually missed two flights home because of this and had to pay extra to get home that night. And it was worth it - every minute watching the Gunners in the flesh is sacred.
"But you only get to games nine or ten times a year at most - we have to go through the hassle every second week!" you might cry. Then I say you are farcking spoiled and deserve your ticket even less. What do they say about familiarity breeding contempt...?

The early leavers should either stop embarrassing the club or give their tickets to fans that will stay and cheer the team on. There is no excuse for this leaving early shit; you either love the club enough to put yourself out a little or you don't. It's that simple.
