I had hight hopes for him but he doesn't seem to be getting the chances.

An injury didn't help him last year make his debut but then he shortly went off on loan.
Yeah, he went to the bundesliga for Nurnburg which would've helped him. He just got a big-up on Arsenal.com so I think he may make an appearance. I think he's still one of the rising stars in the pipeline; captain of Norway-U21s I think so looking good.
Yeah. All the hype was good and has continued to be good for the past few years since we bought him.

True.
The Mail thinks, after 2 years, we'll suddenly start playing 4-4-2!
It may well be that team but with JET playing behind the striker in a free roll as part of the midfield.

We should be able to tear them a new ar$ehole with those players though. I hope everyone fires on all cylinders.

A Gibbs cross for a big JET header.

A Denilson 30 yarder.

And a silky move combining Walcott, Bendy and Rocky

Would pretty much make my night.

Far too much optimism and complacency on this thread. I think it will be very close and could well go to ET.

I really want us to win this as (unless we get a kind draw in the FA Cup) I think it is our only chance of silverware this season.

Personally I think a run of good results purely based on morale can't go on forever. Our technical superiority will win out comfortably.

They're a championship side playing their second string team, we'll win this.

It's a no win for the Jordies.
As long as we 'turn up' and be professional there's no reason why we can't win this comfortably.

just heading out from the not so nice b n b to bump into fellow gooners. Hope we win, starting to get a bit worried as the locals seem quite up for it. Here's to a win and then a good night out. COYGS!! :barscarf:

I echo the thoughts of the last two posters.

It's not complacency guys. Out 'second side' has proved to everyone how capable they are. Blended with a number of first-team starters, and up against one of the weaker sides in the Premier League, who will blood a few youngsters, this is a straight-forward victory

Yeah I agree, lets not get complacent here but at the same time, I'd be very disappointed if we werent in the draw for the next round after tonights game.

I saw nothing at West Ham at the weekend that suggested we have anything to fear, other than our defenders coping with Andy Caroll, and he won't be playing tonight.

Of the rest of their team, they don't really have anything to be worried about, and any one of the likely XIs out there should win this at a canter.

Sky sports news showed fabregas getting off the team bus first so it looks like there's a good chance he'll start!

I'd be amazed if Fabregas starts although Arsenal's odds have gone down from 1.9 to 1.72 in the last half hour or so...
