Good all round performance.

Chesney had a good game and hopefully now will be given the gloves whenever Fabianski reverts to type.

Vela was shit again, why wasn't JET played ahead of him.

Koscielny was excellent.

Theo is getting better and better at finishing.

Silly decision to put Cesc on with *word censored* like Barton around, should've given Lansbury last 20 mins.

Don Goodman, who let him out of his cage?

It was only a full moon the other night just gone.

The Bentdner incident was 50-50, the Newcastle player did tug on NB52 to make him look like he was fouled, he wouldn't have caught Walcott anyway.

Decent performance tonight, tho Djorou was shite Kos was very good and good to see Theo's finishing was as good as it was before he got injured. And Bentdner's goal was brilliant. Great night AFC :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

MOTM was Kos for me. He was an absolute rock. Djourou was decent but for such a tall player, he gets easily out-muscled. Johan did put in a great interception on the slide and a few very tidy challenges though. Bendtner got his goal but his build up play is shockingly poor. His passing going foward is terrible. Going back, he's fine but when it's his turn to slip a ball down the channel or even make a simple pass, he never manages it. Chesney was very good and he looks to be a great prospect. Vela was shite and I think he's had enough chances. I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave in the summer. Shame about Gibbs, Colin Lewin must have cursed that poor bastard. Two very tidy finishes from Theo and i'm actually excited about the Carling Cup. Would love to see us go all the way to the final.

his lass must be even more of a monster since he said he had to smack her in self defence. What with that and the ridiculously small fine he got for someone being glassed in the face when his glass "accidentally slipped out of his hand and caused the man to require 6 stitches above his eyebrow", he is certainly getting a reputation. No mention of either charge by Sky tonight though, they were just continuing to suck the useless bastards cock at every opportunity

Anyway, the game was enjoyable        Bendtner certainly looks sharp on that evidence and troubled them throughout, and Theo was class in the second half, they just couldnt handle the lad. A good performance from the keeper as well

Keeper tonight was top class, his late save from carroll was schmeichel like very impressed! Theo, bendtner and kos were stand outs for me all impressive but again vela disappointed when given the chance. If we can avoid united until the final we've got a great chance of winning it! here's to a nice home draw with the tractor boys :barscarf:

Vela is an odd one- obviously has some ability but to me doesnt look like a striker. Not sure what position he could hope to make his own tbh but he has been at Arsenal a fairly long time and doesnt seem to be developing much. He's still a young lad, but I think if he doesnt really kick on next season, he will have to move on, can't see him ever getting a regular place in the side. A problem he has is that since he isnt an out and out goal scorer and is more of a creative off the front man type player, he will be competing with RVP for a place (amongst others).

Actually I think Vela is an out and out goalscorer but never gets the chance to play upfront because we play 4-3-3 and Wenger prefers to have a big lad playing the lone man role.

He gets enough chances to shine but doesn't take enough of them and I can't see him holding down a regular place in the side when everybody is fit. If he doesn't start to kick in with some decent displays soon id look to cash in in the summer.

It's a shame because he's just not suited to the system we play. Put him in the Utd team and he'll probably become world class.

Vela is a useless *word censored* waste of space and money. He was shit in everything he did tonight - unless his role was to be shit, in which case he was excellent.

Fucking sick of these excuses a guy is not playing in his natural position - it's not as if he's being ask to play at centre back. The guy just doesn't produce, and doesn't look like he even wants it. Show a bit of desire man.
