Newcastle Nov 7th (French Gooners)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Newcastle Nov 7th (French Gooners)

Post by Vince »

We'll be 23 French Gooners from the Arsenal Supporters Club France at the Emirates for this game. So don't be surprised if you see many frenchies with a big flag "french gooners on tour" during the weekend. We'll be on the upper tier of the Clock End.
:barscarf:

PS: sorry M-50 but we can't share a room. Good luck!

I don't know yet, we might go to the twelve pins, or a pub closer to the Emirates. But we wont be more than 10-12 going to the pub I guess.

If you see a big black guy singing loudly, it's my mate Axel and I won't be far. Last time he went to the Emirates he was shouting insults to the villa fans from the upper tier, he almost been kicked off the stadium by the stewards

Anyway, what pub you guys use to go before the game?
Is there a pub where the french people aren't allowed?

The Wig & Gown has been highly recommended.

I've been on the Twelve Pins on Satruday night, and today after the game.
Great atmosphere after the game, anyone from the forum was there? The Wagner lookalike was my mate  When the few Newcastle fans left the pub, he was the main attraction.

Good you had fun in the pub, but not at the ground!

What is the news in France about Wenger's "Donya"?
