As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Iceman i see where your coming from, but there is no way the club could officially use this as an excuse as they would never be able to move from the official line of swearing/abuse.....are NOT allowed anywhere.
You can swear in this area to an extent, but not at all in family enclosure....nah that cannot be the reason, and one the club would not use. As technically its a breach of violatiopn to allow "bad behaviour" in any area of the stadium.
The fact remains that if the family enclosure is sold out a jr gunner can still book a ticket in another area of the stadium....BUT if the rest of the stadium is sold out apart from FE I cant book a ticket for that area.....that is wrong.

My understanding is that you can't book tickets in the FE if you aren't with a JG UNLESS tickets are sold out in all the other areas.

Must be new for this season. When I tried online, it said membership not valid.
Rang up and she said it should be no problem, had the exact two tickets I had up which i couldnt buy. But when she tried to put it through she got the same message.
Maybe when it goes on sale to reds the rules is relaxed, which is even more of a piss take, as a silver should get priority (thats the point in grading membership isnt it? ).
I dont know, but she couldnt do it for me, and went and asked someone in regards to the rules, and this is what i was told.

I think if the FE is almost full but there are just a few singles left the online booking system allows the single seats to be book by non JGs.
I expect it wouldnt allow a pair of seats to go to a non-JG
You want a ticket in the family closure for Stoke @ Home.. When really, if your likley to swear youll get grassed up by text, let me remind you who will most likley be inside the stadium that day..

I like to sing and cant help swearing at games so id never book tickets for myslf down there.
BUT as fully paid up silver member why shouldnt i be allowed to book in those areas?
And the fact the seat will remain unsold....yet i have to pay extra to sit in upper tier....thats just not rite.
Think you have answered your own question tbh...

Think wisely, my friend!
LADS READ MY POSTS.....The tickets are not for me I have mine in northbank, they are for a mate(who isnt a gooner and his misses, who is quiet as they come who is a gooner, its one of her xmas pressies). I wanted to get them a decent seat in the lower tier, this block came up because it was it the lower hence cheaper, they were also row 19 hence not too low, thats the only reason i tried that area, the only other lower tier option was row 4, which from experiance too low to really be able to read/see the game. So i went for block 30 which at the time I didnt know was FE.
Rossie the answering my own question...what do you mean? Do you agree with me?
If not it means that you agree that the club have some sort of a presumption that a silver member is going to swear/cause trouble/upset people by standing up....whatever?.....because that is discrimination in its simplest form.....and as holloway would say......WRONG.
I frequent the Family Enclosure a fair amount as my daughter is a JG and swearing / singing / standing up is quite common I can assure you.
BTW For the Champions League game v Shaktar when I rang the Family Enclosure number to get tickets I was told to phone ticketmaster as it had gone out to friends and family - what's the point of having a special phone number for the Family Enclosure only to be redirected elsewhere ??
