I've no doubt that my favourite Highbury memory is Tony Adams scoring against Everton in 1998 to win the Premier League. His celebration summed up the class of the entire club.

My favourite Highbury memory is also one of my worst:

I was playing for a local side a few years ago. We were sponsored in some way by the Arsenal (or they made a donation or something) and we were given free tickets to a match against Chelsea. Before the match, we all went onto the pitch for a penalty competition (not in the real goals, in the ones they put up next to it.) Being a striker, one of the only gooners there, my team's penalty taker, and a right cocky bastard, I nominated myself to go first. We had 3 pens each in first round, score one and go through. After that each round was sudden death, miss and go out. So here I am, on the pitch at Highbury about to score, and I choke big time and miss all 3. The only player to do so :( The fact that the keeper seemed to be trying his hardest to let everyone through the first round didn't matter as I put all 3 wide

So there it was, I had "played" on the pitch at highbury, something that would make millions of gooners jealous which was fantastic, but I missed my only opportunity to score at Highbury, which was devestating. Still, as the day went on I met Steve Bould, and we beat the Chelsea scum so it picked up a bit.

ive had the highbury experience 60 times, thankfully most of them were memorable. the obvious standout is probably the last game ever v wigan, but im gonna go for my 1st ever norf london derby v the spuds in april 2002. we was leading 1-0 (freddie) with 10 to go when the spuds got a pen, and u knoe who took it and scored, dispair. 5 mins 2 go, and we get a pen, and lauren steps up and puts it down the middle of the goal, pue elation, cause at that point, we had 1 hand firmly on the premier league :D

100% spot on, Rilo 2 has not only commited the cardinal sin of having a pathetic name but he has buried himself by going through a poxy long drawn out story of missing 3 pens like a c*nt on the highbury turf then admitting he is a c*nt before asking someone, rather rudely, I quote "Have YOU have ever played on the Highbury turf before?".

Only a c*nt would say such a thing.

One that stands out for me is Cescs goal against Juventus in the last season at Highbury....was in the clock end that night and was absolute bedlam when we scored, I was on an aisle seat in row 19 and ended up in the first row when that went in...Highbury was rocking that night!

The 0-0 against Real Madrid was amazing too...Will never forget the heart in mouth moment with Lehmans save from Raul knocking it onto the post.

2002, 2-0 against West Ham in April and Freddies goal with about 10 minutes to go, really knew we could do it then, (Fuck all Fuck all fuck all, man united will win fuck all all the way down the avenell road that night)

There are so many these are just a few that haven't been mentioned yet, I think we get more special moments in a season than Spurs get in 10!

for me, at highbury it was that 2002 freddie goal against West Ham, I was sittin in the North bank and found myself a couple of rows down by the time the pandemonium was done, real 'hug a stranger' time after almost a full game's gradually building worry that it might be 'one of those days' and we might not score

or my first game vs newcastle aaages ago in the GG era where wrighty scored in the first minute and the back four kept them at bay for the rest of the game...yawn - to me it was beautiful tho... well maybe

Never been lucky enough, though I've been on the pitch at Old Trafford.

My favorite - which I've gone into great detail about elsewhere, last North Bank v Southampton on May 2 1992.

I've played, and scored, on two occasions at Highbury. I have also played and scored at The Emirates.

same stearmaster, im 21 aswell tho was luckily born into a family with season tickets to the arse 8) so iv been goin regularly fora while now - keep missing the dramatic games at the grove tho- like henry vs united, 7-0, the scum in anything but the carling cup - would have killed to play on either pitch tho scoring is maybe a wish too far - my playing style is more grimandi/John Jensen
