Another expensive mistake from Clichy, I reckon he has been directly responsible for more goals/defeats than either ALmunia or Fabianski.
I've had enough of him, the problem however is his brittle boned replacement. So we are stuck with him and that's that.
Should also be noted there were two other awful displays last night (3 if you count Wenger). Eboue and Rosicky were shocking, we all know Eboue is not one of the most talented footballer in the world, Rosy however is meant to be just that. This c**t has contributed nothing in his Arsenal career apart from the FA cup at Anfield, and that seems a long time ago.
All 3 should be shipped out, will they be? will they fuck.

Much as I like Clichy the number of similar mistakes is beyond ridiculous now. What makes it worse is Iâ€™m sure he is genuinely desperate for himself & the club to kick on & start winning things so these mistakes arenâ€™t just the result of an Arshavin-esque half-arsed attitude. As someone else said heâ€™s become Senderos-like, even when heâ€™s having a good game heâ€™s liable to drop a massive clanger at some point.

That said though, I donâ€™t think we should let individual mistakes gloss over the overall problems. Clichy lost the ball right out on the touchline, the ease with which they went on to score was just as big an issue. Same as when Clichy slipped in the 4-4 vs. the scum. He was out wide on near enough the halfway-line with at least 8 or 9 of the rest of the team behind him, yet Jenas was allowed to run straight through the middle of the park to score unchallenged. Iâ€™m sure plenty of teams make similar individual mistakes but generally we get punished for ours cos our defending overall is shit. If Evra made the same mistake in the same position itâ€™d be less likely to result in a goal & therefore just go unnoticed. Injuries-permitting it's time for Gibbs to get a run as first-choice but without a mass overhaul of our approach to defending the biggest problem's still gonna be that our defence is weaker than the sum its parts.

Exactly. This is the problem, and shows he refuses to address his own weaknesses. This is a very simple task, kick the ball up the field or out of play when in that situation.

8 year olds can do it, kids are thought that way. Is Clichy too good to do this? Does he think he can play his way out of anything?

Lets not even bother to discuss his abysmal play in the opposition half.

He's good enough to play out of that situation with some people, but to try it against Dario Srna, one of best right backs in the game, is pretty stupid.
