Anyone see that on ESPN there, just beat Rochdale 3-2 in the FA Cup first round.

Scored in the 95th minute, striker knocked the ball out of the keepers hands! Crazy all their fans on the pitch. Amazing support as well singing all game long.

Was hoping they would win tbh, I know terrible thing to say... :wink:

I couldnt help but want them to win. I respect what they've done and the way they've stuck to it and not seen it just become a busted flush.

Absolute bullshit. Not from you, from them.

They took the game for television £.

Founded against all the commercial aspects of the modern game, they're unable to turn the bucks down when push comes to shove.

I think if they become to too rigid and dogmatic about stuff like that then they're never going to reach the football league. They might be happy with that, i dont know. My view is that there is a massive middle ground between the commercial machine of clubs like manure and some absolute "socialist" approach - FCUOM should be trying to tap into that to become a football league side while safeguarding their fan ownership approach.

Not that i care 8) :lol:

What a ridiculous post.

I think there's a slight difference between selling to American billionaires and taking in profts from a cup run (which is a result of on-pitch success) to keep the club financed.

I really don't understand your "logic". Because they're opposed to the way MUFC is run, should they reject all sources of income? Should everyone be allowed to turn up for nothing, because they're not in it for the money?

There's a huge difference between greed and simply paying your bills.

Ever seen the episode of South Park where the Wal-Mart gets burned to the ground and all the locals go to the town shop but it grows and grows into another Wal-Mart so they end up burning that to the ground?

Listen, if you start an off shoot club and pride yourselves on the fact you won't be selling out to TV contracts or for that matter not even sell merchandise then a few years later pick up £60k odd for a TV appearence you've lost your credibility in this mother fuckers eyes.

See my South Park comment.

They asked the fans about televising it, they have a vote on these things I think. Most were in favour because it is not that far away to travel.

I mean they took 4500 to the game out of 7000.

I dont have any south park references to illustrate my point but your approach is the equivalent of soviet politicians hailing the liberation of the proletariat while they remain trapped indefinately in debilitating poverty.

proletariat = poor mother fuckers
liberation = the act of liberating a mother fucker
indefinately = forever, mother fucker
poverty = poor mother fuckers being poor
