Shut up Arsene!!

Post by Jumpers For Goalposts »

After all Arsene Wenger has done for Arsenal, I can't believe I feel this way but I am sick and tired of the shit that he comes out with.

In his BBC post match interview he said

"Overall we dealt well with (Andy) Carroll"
No we f**king didn't - he scored the goal that won his team 3 points. :banghead:

"Some players were not 100%"
Why are they in the team then - the team that he picks?

"The players played in midweek"
That's the price you pay for being in the Champions League! Arsene is paid £6million a year to find the answer to this. . . . . . .

"Overall Fabianski has done extremely well"
One good game (Man Citeh) maybe but he is still a liability with 1 big mistake in him every match - and everyone but Arsene can see it.

"Van Persie needs some time for sure"
Unbelievable - if he needs time why take off our in form front man and bring on a player that is way short of match fitness??

And to top it all - Arsene spent ages berating the 4th official yet again. Whether it was because the subs board wasn't ready (Vic Akers fault!), Newcastle wasting time (what did Arsene expect them to do??) or decisions not going our way, Arsene was there blaming everyone but himself.

Well Arsene my old mate -
* if you stopped rewarding duffers with huge, long-term contracts,
* assembled a decent medical team (rather than our current useless lot)
* signed some battle hardened winners (like we had in 2004),
* worked out a Plan B (for the many times when Plan A doesn't work)
* and employed a defensive coach like Martin Keown (to teach our numpty air-heads how to defend for 90 minutes)

- - - - then maybe you wouldn't need to spend all match moaning.

Surley I'm not the only Gooner that is thoroughly sick of Arsene's tired old excuses????

I never thought I'd feel this way about Wenger - but I ABSOLUTELY HATE HIM.

He won every header and wreacked havoc all day.

Remember hearing this after the West Brom game that we were going to learn from"The players played in midweek"
That's the price you pay for being in the Champions League! Arsene is paid £6million a year to find the answer to this. . . . . . .

No, they fucking didn't you prick. You rested them - arrogantly thinking we'd already won the Group - to save them for this match. And guess what Fabregas, Chamakh and Koscielny were all fucking shit.
"Overall Fabianski has done extremely well"
One good game (Man Citeh) maybe but he is still a liability with 1 big mistake in him every match - and everyone but Arsene can see it.

One decent game against Shakhtar - the rest no better than average. Doing a bit better than the monumental fuck ups of the past is not doing "extremely well"

"Van Persie needs some time for sure"

Nothing new here - if we'd had 10 minutes stoppage time it would more likely have been 0-2 than 1-1.

I think my inserts above suggest you most certainly aren't the only one sick of the GIC. Stll only the Summer of 2014 to wait for......

"Overall we dealt well with (Andy) Carroll"
We did contain him, not brilliantly but enough that he rarely looked like scoring. Keeper made an error unfortunately, it happens
One good game (Man Citeh) maybe but he is still a liability with 1 big mistake in him every match - and everyone but Arsene can see it.
Actually, I think Wenger is right, he has played very well since given his chance. Every keeper makes mistakes, the issue is if he keeps on making them after this
* if you stopped rewarding duffers with huge, long-term contracts,
They would leave us on the cheap?

The rest I pretty much agree with.

Just noticed this bullshit from him on Arse.com too. More fucking shit from his mouth - yes Arsene lets change the way football has worked for decades because it inconveniences you. It affects every other big team in the World too. Shut the fuck up and concentrate on your own fucking job which you happen to be doing particularly badly lately. Then start worrying about how other people do their jobs. Honestly.....zzzzzzzzz.....more yawnworthy stuff from his mouth season after season

‘International football must be re-organised’

Arsène Wenger says international football is in drastic need of a re-structure.

Some club managers have long been campaigning for a different fixture schedule at that level, citing the inconvenience those games can bring at important times of the season.

England play France at Wembley during the next international break with the players meeting up with their coaches for barely a day and Wenger feels a change is needed – for the benefit of clubs and countries.

“[A change] certainly cannot be avoided,â€

It matters fuck all since he ended up scoring the goal that got them the 3 points and us nothing. :x

Reminds me of Turnip's comment about Drogba - "other than his two goals he did nothing".

Bizarre interview :?

He thought we dealt well with Carroll?? I thought Carrol did very well today - then again, Wenger has a blind spot for powerful strikers who rape us, as didn't he say Drogba did surprisingly little against us in last seasons home defeat?

Also, Wenger said it wasn't a red card as Koscielny wasn't the last man and it wasn't a goalscoring chance... personally, I think he's wrong on all counts, and the red card was spot on, and I assure you it won't be rescinded!

He also said Fabianski is strong enough.... yet, surely the evidence suggests he's NOT strong enough in aerial situations?

It's just another interview where Wenger is trying to pull the wool over people's eyes with comments that he knows full well aren't true.... however, at least it's comforting to know that he lies to everyone in his life, and not just us gooners - so we shouldn't take it personally!

I have to agree with you .

I get sick of his comments after match comments and interviews too.

Also i cant understand some of his tactics at times. from the off today arshavin is on the bench ,wtf he didnt even play on wednesday night you fucking idiot , so that comment about players playing the other night is wrong too.

Just a hunch arsene but if your going to play that card then surely your supposed to play a player that didnt play on wednesday night.
Ok fabianski played well against man city but you cant polish a turd can you.

Wenger is starting to get on my tits quite frankly

They played a clip on the radio and he admitted that before the game he was worried because '......Newcastle are a team of men, very mature men....'

Well well well, I think the silly old man really has lost it now. Admitting to us and the players that contrary to the 'this is our season, the boys are ready' bullshit, deep down he knows he's built a team that are physically weak and won't win nuffink.

2 excellent points mate!!

I was gonna make both those points in my original post but didn't want it to be too long.

Koscielny's was a 100% red card. He didn't get it for the tackle - he got it because he couldn't deal with a rookie striker on the touchline, 50 yards from goal. Once Ranger got away from him, it was only ever gonna end badly. Shocking defending once again!!

Wenger's affair says a lot about him as a person. Anyone that is prepared to betray the mother of their children, whilst pretending to be a happy family man in public is a shitbag of the highest order. How can you spend years living a lie??

I wonder if he told his wife to "JUDGE ME IN MAY"????

Most people should know my feelings on Wenger the football manager but I think it's unfair for people to slag him off for his private life as we don't know the facts.
Even if he has been seeing another woman, he may have been having a shit home life for ages because his wife was being nasty but he stayed there for the kid? I don't think anyone has a family with the intention of leaving the kid with a broken home but let's be honest, these things happen in life, and without knowing all the facts we shouldn't judge.

On football matters, I think the guy is becoming a complete tosser though!! 8)

I am, or was, a 'rosetinter' (sp?)

After today...fuck Wenger.

His project is failing, the idea of building for the future is floored and the team nowadays is, to be brutal, fucking shit.

I feel used.

I pay £1100 for my season ticket and they play against West Brom, West Ham and Newcastle little better than my old Sunday morning team.

It is disgraceful.

At the moment, I want to give the ticket up. I'm not flush, the missus is moaning and the club seem to be creaming my money.

I don't want glory, just a bit of fight and respect.

If it wasn't for Jack Wilshere I'd burn the ticket today.

In fairness the two teams who have beaten us here are good teams
:banghead: FFS Arsene, they're newly promoted from the championship. Not Barca or Real Madrid. If West Brom & Newcastle are "good" teams then we're gonna take a battering from some of the mid-table teams when they visit our place who by Arsene's logic must be world class.

I'm getting more & more fed up with the guy as the weeks go on. We're stagnating. Wenger's reign reeks of someone who's out-stayed their welcome. Can't believe we've gotta put up with this till 2014.
