WOLVES THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Think McCarthy sees Henry as the mirror image of himself as a player .

3-1 for us.

Fab4 to do the talking on the pitch, scores two and offers the third for AA.

Their recent performances (which doesn't relate into their league table position) is encouraging for them and even more so now that they have seen us lose (showing no heart) against Newcastle.

I'm hoping Wilshere,Chamakh & Nasri can lead the rest of the team in the right direction, i.e: showing determination. Our quality will give us a chance to win and I predict a high-scoring affair

Wolfs 2 Goons 4

Wouldn't surprise me to see this one 2-2 at half-time

If they've a set of bollocks between them they'd be hurting just as much as us after Newcastle & they'd wanna go out to absolutely stuff these cloggers. 3 goals in the first 20 minutes, that kinda thing.

I'm not holding out much hope though. I'm expecting more of the same, pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-goal kick rubbish before they score from a set piece. We'll then scrape an equaliser, probably borderline offside or some shit & Arsene will praise our ability to "fight to the end". :banghead:

Squillaci says that "A great team does not lose three in a row", so there's every chance we'll be beaten.

Apprently Wolves is shit for having away pubs?
yup your right, theres 2 pubs i found, on googling football awaygorunds, they recomend to keep your colours covered, but if you wear colours, it'll just be luck if u get mouthed at like anywhere, i know lots who went last season with colours on. i dont wear colours, even at home games, just my choice! anyway i think we'll bounce back here , 1-2
The Walkabout on Queen Street in the town centre is usually full of Gooners.

On a different note, can anyone remember how much the tickets were? My mate owes me and I can't find the confirmation anywhere, thanks.

About £42 I think, but surely it's printed on the ticket?

Thanks.

They were sent to another address. I've got to pick them up tomorrow on my way to the game. It's a long story and it's been a right old palava I can tell you.

bunch wrote:My thoughts on this game:

Wolves are playing pretty well at the moment. They looked good at the Bridge and Chelsea laboured to beat them. Same against Man U and it was another late goal that stole it from them. And they beat City and by all accounts deservedly so. They will definitely think they can beat us, in fact they may even expect a result.

We need to show a bit of fight, and I think we may come out with the right attitude at Molineaux becasue we absolutely have to and I am sure not one of our players believes it will be easy.

Prediction:

Wolves 1-2 Arsenal

The thing is, these days we have no idea what the result will be, because it could be anything at all. No one result any more likely than another. Even if we score first, we can be rolled over because we cant defend (Donetsk). If we concede first, we end up chasing the game, the other side defends well and is likely to catch us on the break.

With this second rate team: no consistency, no attitude, little class. When things are going well, we can look good; when things are not going well, we are poor.

Would like to see us play 2 up front, proper wide players in midfield, and Song and the back 4 to f***ing defend for the whole match. Is that too much to ask?
