Should senior players be playing on Tuesday?

can see both sides for this but if it was up to me i;d play the first 11 and beat the tiny totts,, they have to beat us at some stage and this is as good a chance as any they will getImage

I think we'll see a mix of youth and first team.

Some senior players will, while others will be rested.

As to the question of should we be playing seniors. Well, why not? Normally I would say that if it is a youth cup, the youth team should not be robbed of chances they earn (this is of course why Wenger played them in the final last year). In this case though, they have not progressed to a stage of a competition that is a 'reward'. Instead, the club must play to win. For this, Wenger will pick a squad he thinks can win, whoever is in it.

Keep the team who played at home, but with Fab, Ade and Hleb on the bench.

Show no mercy, play the first team and mash the spuds 8) However I think he will play the youngsters but have a few first teamers on the bench.

I'd actually kep Ade on the bench & bring him on in the 2nd half if needed. Ade is always at his best when he comes on from the bench in my opinion. Imagine what a nightmare for defenders as well. You've played, say 70 min, getting more & more tired & now have to face Adebayor full of energy

My guess for the team´. Lehmann, Hote, Senderos, Gallas, Traore, Diaby, Denilson, Gilberto, Walcott, Eduardo, Bendtner.

based on previous carling cup matches Theo didnt play and Bentner was a unused sub yesterday. so points out they will be our front 2

Spuds coach is saying hes gonna go all out to beat us and win some silverware - imagine how they would feel if Wenger plays the youngsters and we win (which I personally think is good). The spuds have more to loose than we do.

The semi's should include one or two 1st teamers at least, the final is stright with the kids like last year
everytime we've got to the semis of this cup under wenger he has at least included a well known face in the team such as Dennis & Thierry v Wigan, Paddy v Boro & so on
ade & cesc spring to mind for a call up
