EVERTON AWAY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Did you ever stand in the old Goodison away end? You were below pitch level so im sure your ticket will be a big improvement on that...

The game will finish 2-2

I had a €1 bet on us to beat them 6-0 last season at Goodison (@ 625/1) and that fucking cuntbag Saha killed it in the last minute... :(
 Gutted mate!

Anyway this will be a hard game, and playing how we did against Wolves isn't going to cut it! 2-1 Arsenal :barscarf:

I agree newcastle takes the glory away big time. Failure to sign a keeper has cost us 6 points so far. If we would of signed a keeper in the summer we would be top of the leauge FACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will have to play a lot better than we have in any of our last 4 or 5 league games, the only positive is that Everton aren't creating or scoring many themselves.
First goal could decide it, but have a feeling Cahill will get it 1-0 to them.

GET OVER IT.. WHAT KEEPER IS THERE WHO WE COULD HAVE SIGNED IN THE FUCKING SUMMER? We have 2 fantastic keepers at the club, both on long term deals, Fabianski has been consistanty good since he has came into the side, yes he should have dealt with the Carol goal better, but firstly why was carol unmarked anyway?

He made 2 world world class saves at City one very early on which could have won us that game. Are you saying United need to buy a new keeper because Van Der Sar fucked up a few times for them this season? They would be top of the league had he not made those errors

I'm not sure coming on here is good for your health wozza

We were officialy interested in Reina,, and of course Schwarzer. Other than that, we don't know. We perhaps didn't ask the question, and who knows which keepers are available? What we know is the keeper situation has been allowed to turn into a mess over the last couple of years.

Yes re Carroll, but Fabiasnki made a very early decision, and made a bad mistake.

And Van der Sar - yes, he's fucked up but with his record and history, he is in a different position. If fabianski gets a good few years under his belt, then he will develop a trust that will not be broken by a few errors.

Two fantastic keepers did we sign Buffon and Casillas while i wasnt looking.Flappy is error prone and while i think Szczesny could be really good he is still unproven(not played one premiership game)

As for VDS i would still have him over Flappy and Average Al

1-1 at Everton, they always raise their game against the top teams

A very tricky game, they will come at us like wolves, so we need to be on top from the start and get at them quick. I think the lads will be out to prove a point, and think they will....hopefully.

Will be interesting to see the starting line up, have a feeling rockin robin may get a go.
