It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Like others have said.... *shrug shoulders*
Wilkins was much, much better than Denilson will ever be!!! The guy was a great passer of the ball and creator of chances, as well as scoring a few cracking goals. The only time he became crab-like was when he had to play second fiddle to Bryan Robson for England (and United?).
As someone who saw Wilkins play plenty of matches, take it from me - Denilson (and us Arsenal fans) can only dream that he becomes half the player Wilkins was, because if the Brazilian does, then we'll have a very good player on our hands, rather than the light-weight, sub-standard player that we currently do.
I quite like Wilkins.
He was Mr Sideways as a player, but when he speaks as a coach or pundit he is considered and respectful of the opposition.
I bet there are a few clubs who will headhunt him (pun intended!) for a coaching role.

Your right Hlebby he was an excellent player a very culured intelligent player, he read the game very well and had a great range of passing...also he is one of footballs nice guys, i met him when i was a kid playing at a football tournament and he really was a gent, very humble and very supportive, an all round good guy...I've never understood all the negativity he attracts...
