Best player youve seen play in an Arsenal strip.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

been a gooner for 25 years, so missed the brady era, so for me, there isnt even a choice, its quite simply, "the non flying dutchman"

For me it has to be the one and only Dennis Bergkamp- created something out of nothing most of his goals were top notch..

Trouble with this is you can't just pick a favourite player simply because he was skilfull (otherwise we'd only ever pick Titi, Bergkamp or Brady). The moment has to be juuuuussssssssssssst right.

Probably the best goal I ever celebrated for the Arse was dear old Tone's against Everton in '88 ('89?). The league was already won and Everton were already well beaten...but Bouldy's chip, Adams control and then...oh sweet, sweet life there truly is a God. And he wears no.6.

So, for me I'll have to say Sir Tony Messiah Adams.

And Denis Bergkamp,

And Titi,

And Wrighty,

And Merse,

Oh fuck it - their all heroes to me when they score.

Narrows it down doesn't it ?!
