Fight At Wolves

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

i feel quite dissapointed that our own fans feel the need to bash each other. not saying i support football violence but i can understand the odd ruck and banter with other fans, but ive never heard of a situation like this

Did anyone see the fight between the Arsenal fans after the match.

I was stood next to these two guys. I think one was the others son judging by age. They constantly shouted out, not anything supportive, or funny, just random stuff, usually ending with one saying see you next tuesday.

The one stood next to me kept bumping into me and putting his arms right in my face, being quite a timid person i didn't react but i said to my mate who i was with, if it was a different person they would have kicked off. Anyway, he carried on until half time, annoying the people in front jumping on them at random points. ( when Wolves had a throw in etc).

At halftime they dissapeared and didn't return for the entire second half, which was a relief. Then as we were walking out, we see the same 2 guys squaring up to a coloured man. Then the coloured man headbutted the older one of the two and chinned the younger one ( when i say younger he must have been 22/23).

It was all stopped after about 30 seconds by other Arsenal fans.

Just wondered if anyone else see it?
Sounds like they got what they deserved.

its correct to say which colour, black for example, cos by saying coloured, its like saying your white or something else, rather than black, white, yellow, green, you get the idea

What colour was he? The PC brigade won't like this!

Treygoony, said he saw something outside.
The fight I saw was between the Wolves fans and Arsenal fans, was by that pub and a few wolves fans were shouting "You dirty spanish bastards" When this Arsenal fan shouted "Fuck off you *word censored*" Then the Wolves fans walked up to them and kicked off. Was a bit dark and crowded so didn't see exactly what happened but OB started running in after.

Saw some trouble on the walk back around the ring road to the station but that was all.

Only other trouble of note was on the train back between Wolves and Villa fans that got on at New St.

Why should anyone be surprised? Have you never seen it kick off between two mates - let alone two blokes who just happen to support the same team....
