From footballgroundguide:-
Away fans for this season find themselves in the new temporary East Stand at one side of the pitch, where up to 2,500 supporters can be housed. This stand is shared with home fans, with away fans being housed on the southern side. I have yet to experience the new East Stand, I just hope that the facilities are better and more adequate than they were previously in the former temporary stand that this one has replaced. Although the stand is covered, there are a number of supporting pillars running along the front of the stand that may hinder your view. Always remember to wrap up well in winter, as the wind that comes off the Irish Sea can go right through you!

Hoping to get to this one, The fixture list has really kicked me in the bollocks this year,Henry Norris 1913 wrote:true, but will we be able to get the same amount of fans to an unfashionable away ground 300 miles away?SammyDroppedHisShorts wrote:Not neccessarily.............we are a MUCH BIGGER club than Shitty
Bolton and Blackpool are now the only two away matches that are viable for me now this season since the Wigan game got moved on by 24 hours.

Newcastle is reachable too but I won't hold my breath for tickets for that one.

That wind off of the Irish Sea "going right through you" sounds like a description of brazilianGooner' Fish and chips he is serving to the poor unsuspecting members of the Brazilian fan club on SaturdayRVP2 wrote:From footballgroundguide:-

Newcastle going to red members if not general sale... That's the furthest away game of the seasonAndrei says Shhhhh wrote:Henry Norris 1913 wrote:Newcastle is reachable too but I won't hold my breath for tickets for that one.SammyDroppedHisShorts wrote:Not neccessarily.............we are a MUCH BIGGER club than Shitty

Unfashionable away ground? I'd say Blackpool is one of the pick of away days this season.Henry Norris 1913 wrote:true, but will we be able to get the same amount of fans to an unfashionable away ground 300 miles away?SammyDroppedHisShorts wrote:Not neccessarily.............we are a MUCH BIGGER club than Shitty

I live in Glasgow mate and it's probably the closest to me but we don't get all that much an allocation for St James Park.Chips and Chocolate wrote:Andrei says Shhhhh wrote:Newcastle going to red members if not general sale... We get around 3,000 briefs. Sunderland went on general sale as did Blackburn... Everton & Wolves went to red members (**** in the league cup as well ffs). You'll be alright don't worryAndrei says Shhhhh wrote:Chips and Chocolate wrote:I live in Glasgow mate and it's probably the closest to me but we don't get all that much an allocation for St James Park.Andrei says Shhhhh wrote:Newcastle going to red members if not general sale...
