Your favourate highbury moment *latest memories*

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Only a c*nt would say such a thing.
1. If you're going to quote, please have the decency to actually quote me

3. My question was asked tongue in cheek
4. Who the fuck are you?

for me it was the 5-3 win over boro. pires and reyes scoring within the space of a minute put us 4-3 up, (cue stranger hugging moment) then henry finishing it off made the 3 hour drive back home more bearable!

Champions League semi against Villreal. Last Eyro game there, Toure's goal, a raucous crowd and who can forget the squirrel?

Vieiras goal to make it 2-0 against the Mancs in 1998, then Platts header in the 83rd minute. I was in the North Bank with my Grandad and after that we just stood until full time.

brilliant.

This may sound strange, but for me, my best memory of highbury and one that will stay with me forever is when we went down in the champions league to chelsea in a bout 03/04 (around that time). Wayne Bridge scored a late winner.

I was about 12 at the time, and ill always remember Reyes's goal and the atmoshphere at half time was just eletric, i went to the toilet and people were jumping on the toilets and banging the doors to the tune of 'josee antonio, jose antonio!'

Okaaay it might not have been a great result and i was devestated at the full time whistle, but during that 1st 45 minutes and half time, it was one of the best momories i have from the arsenal!

Sorry i went on a bit, got a bit emotional half way through [smilie=row1_23.gif] [smilie=row1_16.gif] [smilie=row1_23.gif]
