Arsenal take note – Milan’s goalscoring... (3/5)
usual thread starter... when all is said and done the chances have not been convverted and this season has gone flat as a result. how is this to be addressed? anyone else like the idea of th14 in the bergkamp role? or maybe push rosicky up there if we can't afford a big name striker and think th14 will stay fit.

I was beginning to wonder if anyone else had this train of thought other than me!!!gooner.ed wrote:usual thread starter... when all is said and done the chances have not been convverted and this season has gone flat as a result. how is this to be addressed? anyone else like the idea of th14 in the bergkamp role? or maybe push rosicky up there if we can't afford a big name striker and think th14 will stay fit.
Couldn't agree with you more. Rosicky plays in the drop role for the Czech team, (where he scores goals - see World cup), why not try him in that role here?? Or TH14 in the BergKamp role with (eto, Johnson??) an out and out striker...
it's unfortunate that freddie is not at his best, as again I would love to have seen a Rosicky, Gilberto, Fabregas, Freddie - mid field, as Helb has not impressed me at all this season, more times than not I'm srceaming at the TV screen in frustartion at his lack of shooting, passing, tackling. skills!!!
With any luck Freddie will get back on form next season or we buy someone like Ribery and play Ribery, Gilberto, Fabregas, Rosicky/Freddie mid field, WOW what a prospect that would be!!
Fingers crossed , Wenger is being very shrewd and will bring in someone like that, but I can dream.......
