Yes, as the England players supposedly don't care but the old guard cared and so on at every club/country. Might I suggest it isn't lack of caring that is the issue and is just an old excuse that we will be using in 20, 30, 100 years from now? Better to concentrate on the real issues like poor defending, bad tactics and so on?

Sorry but when I see Denilson half-heartedly jogging back into our box while the scum are marauding past us I can't help but think that way.

What pixxes me off is how 23% dxxk 'eds voted for him (cesc) as MOM (when his deliberate handball gave the penalty to put them level)

Cesc isn't a captain at the moment and TBH he shouldn't have wore the band at all this season after discrediting the club 'wanting away'. a true captain wears the badge with pride and believes in the team - he doesn't want to be here!

grow up arsene and give the captaincy to one who continues to care about the club

I'm not blaming him for the defeat, but the reaction was missing.
agree 100% he's not to blame fpr the defeat - but we need a leader 3 home losses already - that's cheap - and disgusting

Calm down JB. I thought he was one of our best today. Not a captain tho. Nobody could accuse TA6 of being a footballer but he was the second best captain we have had after big Frank. don't think we have a lader at the mo, except for eboue.

Some recent Wenger captains have been 15 game a season RVP and Average Al.So i wouldnt have much faith in him picking a captain   :x   :banghead: :banghead: Maybe he'll give it to Denilson when Cesc leaves in the summer

I always wondered what his role was at the club, besides making people laugh. Good to see that he's useful for something at least.

Without wishing to go foff topic, ESPN ran a re-run of the 49'ers game. I had forgotten how well we played in the first half, dominating a lot of the game. We were undone by blatant cheating and a ref who probably picked up a brown envelope at the end of the game.

The history books skew the truth, we did not collapse that day - we were kicked and cheated out of the record books.

I'm glad he finally got caught out sticking his hand up defending set plays. He's got away with it several times and now it's cost us big time.

I think its called "defensive inefficiency"

Maybe he'll just concentrate on letting Chamakh jump for the fucking ball next time

Chamakh was standing next to him doing the same thing. They’re all as bad as each other. How come Keown was never worried about protecting his good looks? :?
