Think about Cesc in the dressing room yesterday...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I thought Cesc was trying to grab Chamakh's arm to pull it down. IF he was, then he was doing the right thing, just not quick enough. No question though, he is by a long shot our best player. Nasri could be up there with him soon if he keeps it up.

Cesc had a moment of madness, and gave away a penalty.

But otherwise he was our best player.

I do not like having a captain who wants to leave, but he is playing well now that he is fit again.

Blame Wenger for the loss, not Cesc.

if you think fabregas was running the game 1st half you are fucking blind .nasri done all the fetching and carrying ,aprt from one ball fab did nothing worth shouting about.he can't complain he set the bar and now he should be judged by it .he was slow and migrated from one side to the other with the ball without his old power to break through.he is either bideing his time or sulking .i wont listen to anymore stories about his fittness its all a lie like moonyas elbow

Totallly agree. Fab was anonymous in the 2nd half. He was absolute toilet. As for the penalty - fucking stupid pratt! That cost us the game, as I feel we would still have won it without conceding then.

I'd say Cesc's selfish decision to raise his arm in the box was a bigger catalyst for the Sp*rs comeback than anything Wenger could have said or done yesterday.

Being in a wall is a very simple job - even a braindead retard could do it for free, never mind a £80k+ a week superstar! it's so simple in fact that the only criteria is bravery. Willing to put your body on the line for your team...

Sadly, Cesc chose self preservation over his team, his teammates, his manager and the thousands of fans who have supported him. All he had to do was stand still, or - if instructed - to jump as a ball is struck. He couldn't even do that, so I'll blame him for his disgraceful (and cowardly) contribution to yesterdays farce.

He's the captain ffs - he should act like it.

Don't get me wrong, I like the bloke and hold no grudge for his (understandable) desire to return to Barca - but yesterday was not good. He should have known better, and he deserves to be criticised for his actions.

He will be sitting there smiling to himself, thinking "This time next year, I will be sitting in a dressing room with players like Messi, Iniesta, Villa, Pique, Xavi, etc..."

"I will be playing for a club who win back to back tiles and the Champions League, and not this JOKE of a team!!!"

He won't even look back...

rubbish thread, go away :banghead: :banghead:
