usual thread starter… It’s great to see that Le SuperBob is enjoying his football, and watching him on he box does bring back a lot of great memories. He’s 35 soon though. He’d still be at Arsenal if he was willing to sign a new contract extension every year in the way Bergkamp did, but in fairness to the man, he’s probably getting a better deal in Spain and the football there is almost certainly more suited to his physical capabilities. Good to hear he’s being subbed near injury time rather than halfway through the second half as often happened at Arsenal. We had six years of him, and for me he became an Arsenal great in that time. Let’s hope he does come back to Arsenal with Villarreal so we can show him how much we appreciate what he did for us.
Robert Pires is alive and well (22/1)
He runs like a duck but we dont give a fuck!
I love Bobby. Great to see him enjoying his football again in spain and i hope he does well out there.
One of my fave gooner moments was seeing the squad on their knees bowing in front of him as he hobbled up to get his league winners medal at Highbury.
Unfortunatly one of my worst memories is of him being draged in the European Cup final after Jens got sent off. He certainly deserved a better arsenal exit than that.
