A MANAGER TO GET US BACK WHERE WE BELONG

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Good call, the reason i havent mentioned him is because i was under the impression that he was retiring for football after hes had his final pay day with England?

Then again, I seem to remember taggart had retirement planned a few years back.

Van Gaal - why would he leave BM
Mourinho - will go to OT or city
Koemann (with DB as assistant) unsure of this one
Moyes - is this a joke
O' Neill- as above
Coyle - who?

the answer is Jürgen Klinsmann.
Yeah because coyle, moyes and o'neill are so far below us lets go for klinsmann instead 8)
correct - those 3 in my opinion wouldn't be able to attract the best players - if you want mid table obscurity you'd choose them.

also I doubt very much, that those 3 could turn English football around like Klinsmann has for Germany.

Klinsmann has worked wonders in enacting an ideological shift in German football - much like Wenger has here. But as a club manager he still has a lot to prove. From the outside he looks to me to share all the same weaknesses as Wenger - hardly the man to fix our problems imo.

In fact, if the choice was keeping AW or going with JK id keep the old goat.

He has an excellent record as manager and too rate him highly but he is damaged goods within this country now after the poison challice of England job
The stubborn side of him might want to stick 2 fingers up to the media by winning and winning big with us, remember how he won La Liga in spite of the madrid press

Yes because this club is all about buying big name players and they all want to come because the club offers massive wages like City.

Those 3 managers have all worked well on limited funds so would be well suited here and have far more about them then a part time manager famous for star jumping in the world cup and playing up to the cameras.

So long as that 'Welcome' doesn't involve a handshake followed by a brown paper bag then you're very welcome.

aw, c'mon... what do you prefer? a little extra cash in my pocket to build a sturdy defense and a strong team or in wenger's hand, so that he can sit on it and buy a 15 yo from the fourth division in france with the change?

I dont care if we play ugly footie, or only beat teams 1.0 , dont care if you sell our midgets and replace with tall players that long ball it to a star striker, dont care if you steal money from us, and i dont care if you bring scandal and shame to the club. If you sort out the defence make the board give you cash for players , make us never loose to the scum and win us the leauge you can do what the fuck you want.
