It's no different than Rooney shagging hookers, both men are supposed to be in relationships, so he deserves all the stick he gets. And like Reb I hope it all gets too much, and wouldn't it be somewhat ironic if he left due to a non footballing incident. Fuck him.Bring Back Pires wrote:As much as I disapprove of AW's mismanagement of AFC, I certainly cannot condone The Sun's character assassination in recent weeks. It's totally uncalled for, and this rapper-slapper could be lying through her garlic-laced teeth for all we know.
AW has two daughters, and it's out-of-order for this poor excuse of a newspaper to put them through this, whether or not it's true. They haven't done anything wrong, after all.
I'd hate to go all 'Liverpool FC' and call for a boycott, but any Arsenal fan coughing up for this rag - with this on the cover - goes down a notch or two in my estimation.

Amidst all the jokes (and apathy) about AW's personal 'developments', one thing I haven't read too much about is how the stress might be affecting his performance as Arsenal manager.
Since the news first broke on November 7, we've lost three out of our five games. That totals up to four in six when taking into account the game on November 3, when rumblings about this possible story were surfacing.
Now whether or not the alleged shenanigans are true, it must be having a psychological impact on AW to a great extent, and it's certainly questionable that the stress is preventing him from fully focusing on doing his best for us. Results would indicate that could well be the case. He certainly hasn't been his occasional jovial self at press conferences or post-match interviews either.
I'm by no means excusing our poor form because of this scandal; in fact, it's the exact opposite. If his personal life is interfering with his duties for AFC, then it's yet another stick to beat him with, and a genuine reason for a possible early departure should things go even further downhill - both on and off the field.

I would say there is, the tabloid press have waited a long time for their revenge on Wenger, after the "paedophile" rumour which they were going to go to press with, until Wenger issued a print and I'll sue ultimatum.kingjayson1 wrote:Would you like me to copy and paste the original story?ramon wrote:Is there any proof in this or is this just typically the sun digging dirt as usual![]()
