here in Brazil, yesterday, there was a Nike event in which they presented some new products they are going to launch next year.
we got an information from a friend who works in Nike that a commemorative shirt for the 125 years is being prepared to be sold, and it's already decided the design of the shirt and etc. We couldn't get any pictures of it, but it's been said that there's something gold around the cannon at the chest and it's going to be used for home matches.
please let me know if i'm late with the informations, cuz there are some speculations about this shirt in internet, but they don't look very real.
This is getting ridiculous, I thought it was supposed to be every 2 years. We've had a stupid amount of shirts over the last few years, I've lost count!
Generally they have been every 2 seasons since 2000. The exception was the redcurrant highbury kit. I've got no problem with new kits for special occasions, but wouldnt want to turn into chelsea who seem to change the shade of stitching they use, or add a zip and call it a "new kit" each season..

it's a rule where club shirts have to have a minimum of 2 seasons in use with the exception of commemorative or anniversary kits. the way chelsea get round it to maximize sales is to use next seasons for the last game of the season meaning that it would have been used in 2 seasons of football.
tbf here boomer but quote towers when people are putting 4-5 posts in take up half a page and are annoying to read, esp when they are long posts, i never have a long post so to quote me is ok

i wouldn't mind if we had a new home shirt every season, as long as they look good. what's the problem with it? if you don't like or don't want to spend the money every season, then simply don't buy it. simple.
but i must admit that it'll be a shame if the current home shirt only lasted one season. it's a gorgeous looking kit
