A MANAGER TO GET US BACK WHERE WE BELONG

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Thing about vic is that he also knew when his time was up and that it was time for a change 8) Wonder if there is a senile old fool around that could learn from that line of thinking :hmmthink:

the answer is Jürgen Klinsmann.
Yeah because coyle, moyes and o'neill are so far below us lets go for klinsmann instead 8)
correct - those 3 in my opinion wouldn't be able to attract the best players - if you want mid table obscurity you'd choose them.

also I doubt very much, that those 3 could turn English football around like Klinsmann has for Germany.
Odd that you should say that, considering that amongst most Germans Joachim Low was the one who really turned things around. Klinsmann was more of a talismanic manager. The difference was made by Low hence why they've gotten better since he took over the reigns.

Klinsmann is over-rated and is a dirty, diving ex-swamp dweller.

If you think the number of goals is what makes footballl a good game to watch, by all means, Mourinho play very entertaining football...

I would much rather score 2 then 4 and play the open and much more brace way that us and manU play however rather than rely on forcing opponents to make mistakes...which is what Mourinho's football is and always will be all about.

FFS mate. Have you watched Real Madrid AT ALL this season? They've been playing better football than Barcelona, not only scoring a crazy amount of goals!

Mourinho might be a bit of a *word censored*, but he's the perfect football manager.

Mourinho rapped: "He should especially explain to Arsenal supporters how he can't win one single little trophy since 2005."

The former Chelsea boss was retaliating after Wenger denounced Real's controversial time-wasting tactics at Ajax on Tuesday, which saw two of the Spanish giants' players conveniently sent off.

He also mocked the Gunners' 2-0 midweek Champions League defeat by Braga, which has left Arsenal in danger of crashing out, and slammed the Frenchman's claims his side is still mostly inexperienced.

Mourinho added: "Instead of speaking about Real Madrid, Mr Wenger should speak about Arsenal and explain how he lost 2-0 against a team in the Champions League for the first time.

"The history about the young kids is getting old now.
"Sagna, Clichy, Walcott, Fabregas, Song, Nasri, Van Persie, Arshavin are NOT kids. They are all top players."

Idont like the portugese c**t bu he aint wrong here is he ? Wenger should spend mor time trying to figure out whathis players are guttless c**ts rather than worry about everything else in the world
Yep, unlike what a lot of people say we do have lots of good players and some fantastic players but most of them haven't got the right mentality and the ones who do hardly play.

--------------?????---------
Sagna-Vermaelen-????-Gibbs
-------------Song-Wilshere---------
-----------------Cesc----------------
Nasri---------Van Persie----------????

Thats a team with a winning mentality, would possibly have chamakh there but he doesn't seem to have a killer mentality. Van Persie and Vermaelen have played about 3 games between them and Gibbs had got injured every time he got a chance.

We have the basis of a great team and just need a few gaps filling in.

I have faith that Arsene will do this in Jan.

Shopping List

1 defensive midfielder, doesn't have to be a giant, essien is only 5'10 (song is 6ft)
1 centre back IF vermaelen isn't fit by then.
1 striker IF van persie isn't fit by then.

sorted :D

Haha well in Mourinho. Knew he'd bite.

He sounds like he'd love the chance to become Arsenal manager, just to show Wenger how its done.

lnteresting that he rates Clichy and Walcott as top players.
