Is it just me who thinks things like this are just yet more examples of cashing in on the fans? By all means release a 50 year strip, and obviously a centenary strip, and then 150 years and so on, but 125 years? Who the fuck celebrates the 125th year of something? They might as well release a special commemorative 130 year strip if they're going to start that shite. Thankfully Sunderland didnt release a 125 year commemorative strip in 2004, but if they had there's fuck all chance i'd have bought it

Shit clubs like Spurs released a 125th shirt. I wonder if we will have a 100 years in north London shirt.

the 2 home shirts between 2014/15 and 2017/18 are lush.
best is obviously 2026/27 one though

oh i don't. or at least i certainly don't get ones that cost Â£45+ in the shops.

it's just, although it has been said hundreds of times before, i personally can't condone these prices and quick changes. i suppose that's all i'm saying even though i reckon no one else is fussed! i'm spending too much money on match tickets as it is - just like you say.

I don't see where the tradition is in changing a shirt every year or two. But the financial advantages ?

I don't look at an Arsenal shirt nowadays and think ' Ooh, that's tradtional ! '. In fact I see very little 'tradition' in anything Arsenal anymore. The supporters hold the tradition at our club !. The club is a business to anyone else. The ground is the premises, the players are assets and the fans are customers !.

The crest is *****. I just dont like the way it has gone down the route of adidas with Chelsea and Liverpool kits of bastardising the crest.
