Froch VS Abraham...who cares?

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Froch VS Abraham...who cares?

Post by northbankbren »

The sad state off affairs in boxing in this country climaxe next weekend with Carl Froch VS Arthur Abraham for the Super Middleweight title....now this really could be a cracker of a fight. But the sad fact is many dont even know its happening or havent heard of froch....and how many people will pay for an unadvertised fight on a channel most dont know exists? Its a pity most wont see this.

After last weekends Fraudley show it a shame beacuse this has the makings of a really good fight. Im not a massive fan of froch but there is no denying his talent, quick, a great jab and a chin. And this fight has far more about it than last weekends heavyweight shambles (although anyone who saw the pacman fight that night saw what boxing is all about).

This is a fight that should be seen. Sadly i think Froch will lose on points or late ko.

But like me try and get a free stream

It is a very mouthwatering fight for fans.

Two big hitting, aggressive, hard working fighters, both ex world champions near the peak of their careers but just over the edge and possibly a year past their peak each.

I think Froch has the edge style wise, but I can see Abraham knocking him out.

Hope I am wrong.

Missed Prizefighter, forgot all about it in aftermath of Spurs defeat.
Will look out for Buckland.

Did anyone see Martinez vs Williams?

Not sure how long this link will be up for but if you want to see the heart of the action, go to 5 minutes.

Fight about to start.

Later on too is Katsidis vs Marquez, how much has the classy stylist Marquez left in the tank?

Hmm. Been u[p in weight then down in weight, reckon he is sliding.

Katsidis too strong, to win on points.

barring a late knock out, surely points victory for Froch, he's looked really good tonight

a good bet is to back Katsidis to win on betfair @ 3.5 - usually starts really fast, and after a few good early rounds he's price will tumble and then he let it ride or lay him off

Got this one wrong. Thought Froch was on slide but he was much better than Abraham.

Well done Carl, hope he now fights Kessler and Ward.
